The Glen Garioch single malt whisky from the Scottish distillery founded in 1797 matured for 12 years in bourbon and sherry casks. The distillery is located in the eastern Highlands of Scotland, in the protected Garioch Valley in Old Meldrum. With its unique location between Speyside and the east coast, Glen Garioch has been producing whiskies for over 200 years.

    Kommentar: Ein wirklich angenehmer, klassischer Schotte, der von allem etwas bietet. Malzig, fruchtig, würzig, eichig, süß, leicht sherrytönig und kräftig, leicht pfeffrig. Ein wenig Verdünnung verträgt er auch. Nicht herausragend aber gut.
