With the Glenrothes from first fill sherry hogsheads, Living Souls presents the first batch of a 17-year-old Single Malt bottling that invites connoisseurs to a sherry bodega in Jerez, Spain. Rich oak and fruit flavours, dark chocolate and nutty accents come together. The new independent bottler Living Souls from Glasgow has excellent contacts in the whisky world and aims to develop special flavour profiles by expertly selecting exquisite spirits such as Single Grain, Blended Whisky and Single Malt and by using rare casks. The focus is on quality, innovation and storytelling. Behind The Living Souls is a young, three-person team from Glasgow with extensive expertise, many years of experience and a wide-ranging network. The team includes Calum Leslie, formerly Head of Innovation at the Loch Lomond Group, Jamie Williamson, founder of the British wholesaler Kilninian Spirits and who worked at Douglas Laing for many years, and John Torrance, who has over twenty years' experience in the industry, including at Diageo and Tullibardine.
