The St. Kilian Smoky Berry is an exceptional whisky for anyone who loves intense flavours and exciting contrasts. Based on the "heavily peated" New Make Spirit from the German distillery St. Kilian, this bottling combines powerful peat smoke notes with the fruity intensity of dark forest berries - a combination that immediately arouses curiosity and delights with its flavour. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., the Smoky Berry is accessible yet expressive. The focus is clearly on the aromatic interplay, while the maturation in selected oak casks contributes to the harmonious combination of sweetness, smoke and structure. What makes this whisky so special is the combination of intense berry flavours and distinctive peat smoke, which is anything but ordinary and thus creates a taste experience that appeals to both connoisseurs and adventurous connoisseurs. Kommentar: Einer meiner Lieblingsliköre, man würde denken er hat weniger %. Neben dem Bruadar mein Lieblingswhiskylikör. -
Herstellerbeschreibungop 16.04.2026Aroma: Milder Torfrauch umhüllt ein intensiv fruchtiges Zusammenspiel aus roten und schwarzen Waldbeeren.
Geschmack: Fruchtig, süß und saftig mit intensiven Noten von Erdbeere, Himbeere, Heidelbeere und Brombeere, begleitet von einem Hauch Karamell und dezentem Torfrauch.
Abgang: Cremiges Beerenkompott klingt mit feinem Rauch und dezent trockenen Aschenoten angenehm lange nach.

Kommentar: Rauch als zusätzliche Note gut eingebunden und überdeckt nicht sondern begleitet die fruchtigen Waldfrüchte.
