Why Jack Daniel named his whiskey 'Old No. 7' is a mystery. According to legend, he wanted to honour the 7 most important women in his life. Since 1866, the whiskey has been produced unchanged according to the original recipe and filtered through a 3 metre thick layer of charcoal.
